A massive lunch at Softplay

Wednesday 11th April

I was back in charge of breakfast today, so along with the ever present banana George had two pears dipped in natural yoghurt.

For lunch we once again ventured out to softplay, and George ate quite a lot of pizza and then finished off his friends pasta in tomato sauce. He also ate a few chunky potato chip pieces too.

Supper was mainly about half a yummy pineapple, but dh gave him a couple of chunks of some hideous looking and smelling sausage - I wasn't impressed tbh! Yuck!

He is like a mini eating machine!

Hi everyone!
For days i keep getting the March 31st page when i visit the blog so thought Mel had stopped blogging;didn't realise i had to click on 'April' link, doh! Pic og BG is soo cute! and glad to hear BG's appetite is doing so well, as Bubs has decided she will no longer eat vegetables, feasting instead only on fruits, bread and pasta. How can they be so fussy so early??!!! just hope its not a taste of things to come!
ps Maya said Mama for the first time yesterday after saying Baba (Bengali for dad) for months and months!

Mel - I am sure it's a proud feeling when the 'mini eating machine' eats your hard cooked food!

Yiuyiu - my lo also say's abba (bengali for dad) and amma (bengali for mum).

Funny how she calls 'amma' when she wakes up at the crack of dawn! Dad say's his little girl knows he is sleeping and does not want to disturb daddy!

Jeasmin, it really makes me happy to see him eating food I have made for him. I think there must be either something Jewish or Asian in my subconscious as I have that happiness through feeding people gene! Maybe in a past life??!!!!

(that is meant as a compliment btw - not being racist!)

YiuYiu - doh! I wondered why you had left me a comment on an old post the other day! lol. George has days where I worry about his carbs overload, then he will go back to variety again! Have you tried something like the hidden broccoli pasta sauce - hidden veg might be the way forward??

Well done to your babies on their speaking. We have a definite "mumumumum" now - which is ace!!

We are off veg and fruit at the mo, gonna have to go back to sneaking them in pancakes again i suspect! We def go on carb over load, i find tho that after i've offered everything and it been dropped on floor or even yucked at i give in and offer bread as a desperation food. Rubbish arent i!

Only words i get are things like yuck! LOL

Mel - No offence taken! You got the Asian culture spot on - we love feeding people, which is why our weddings consist of 1,000 people at times. Don't know all the people them though!!

Em - don't worry I do the same with blueberries. When my lo doesn't pick up her food or throws it on the floor, I put few blueberries on her tray and she is back to picking again! I also give bread with philly, she loves it like Willim loves cheese sauce.

Mel and Em - watch this space..very soon i will get around to posting few asian receipes.

Mel - I reckon my Hannah would be quite close to winning if she and G had a race with who can eat the most blueberries! Although I am almost certain that G will win! I wonder why!

Em, have you tried something like the hidden broccoli pasta sauce? Or George will also eat broccoli in the samosas etc?
