Saturday 30th December

Another huge breakfast of half a mango, a slice of toast & butter a date and some dried apricots - all eaten with the aid of what appears to be Baby G's new tooth!!!!!!!

Lunch was a carrot left over from yesterday, a banana and some apricots.

Grandpa supervised dinner, which was 1/2 an oatibix (on a spoon, naughty grandpa) 2 big dates, and the other half of the mango - so a whole mango in one day!!!!! OMG!

Hi Mel, going to give this BLW a go. Didn't do it witht the other two. Hadn't heard of it. You seemed to have had a positive experience. Is Sophie too young at 7 months, hasn't had anything apart from purees really. Love to hear from you.

Hi Mel, I am going to give BLW a go. So far Sophie has only had purees and tbh i hadn't heard of it with the other two. You seem to have had a good experience so far, so any advice would be great. Thanks

Hi Ang,

i started giving George food to hold and see what he did with it etc at 24 weeks. Sophie will be fine at 7 months.

I just followed the Gill Rapley guidelines about size, variety etc and it has all gone v well tbh - even now when he is struggling with his teeth he is still eating, just soft stuff like today's sweet potato.

They really do eat a lot too very quickly.

Give it a go - it is fab!
