Finally, a way to get an apple eaten!

Tuesday 11th December

I found that a little bit of melon got eaten, along with the rest of brekkie as I cut it into lumps not chips, Baby G seems to prefer these at the mo.

In desperation to use up the lovely organic apples Baby G hates, I pan fried them in butter - and he ate it all! And some pan fried pear too! Finally, a way to make fruit fattening!

He rejected almost all of his supper, but it was late as we had been to aqua babies! Of course it was the other salmon fillet dh moaned about, so it is in the fridge for tomorrow. The house stinks of evil fish too - bleugh!

Sorry Mel, I read this every day but didn't notice that there was a section for comments. Anyway hi, my name is Kathryn and I'm a member of June BC. My son Alexander is going to be 6 months old at the weekend but I'm actually thinking of starting him off tomorrow with brocolli and carrot. Excited but scared! Anyway really enjoying your account of yours and George's blw experiences. Hope that we are as successful. Cheers x

Hi Mel,

We don't read everyday but most days... It's a great inspiration for what to feed Isabelle and means I don't feel quite so down-hearted when she throws everything on the floor!

I'm reading this! Yes, yes I know it's an oooold post - but you asked if people were reading to comment :) I'm just starting BLW, have found your blog and got started way at the beginning so as to have the story complete. Yes, a lot of reading I know, but I'm LOVING reading it and I'm also painfully aware, now, of how limiting I'm being with my lil man! GOSH you had the most wonderful menus going for Baby G! :) V Good Mummy!

Hi Mel, I know it's been years since you wrote this but like Brandie, I am just starting at the beginning. My daughter will be 6 months old next month and I would like to start her on BLW. Thank you SO MUCH for this information. There still doesn't seem to be much available out there on BLW. Your posts are very informative and entertaining!

Hello Mel! I, too, have just started reading your blog from the beginning. My daughter is 7 1/2 months old, and I am considering BLW. She hasn't really taken to "baby food." Your experiences are very helpful! Thank you!

I'm enjoying your detailed blog on BLW so much! Thanks for taking the trouble to write so conscientiously, it really is a great resource.

Hi Mel
I know your blog is a few years old but I am reading it and love hearing about baby G's adventures. It is hard to find info on BLW so this is perfect for ideas
I have also been inspired to start my own blog so we will see how that goes.
Thank you so much for sharing your BLW journey
Mel

I'm reading! It is 12:13 am in Canada and we are 3 weeks off starting blw. Loving your story so far and interested to see how it covers 6 years - how many babies do you have!? I'm sure all will be reveiled as I read on.

I've been blogging since I was preggers and am fascinated to see ppl visit my blog from countries where I know no one, so I couldn't resist responding to your "is there anybody out there?" plea. A blw blog is a great idea, mine seems to cover nothing but co stanly loop back to poo. Who knew, pre baby, how exciting poo could be?

Hi sweetie!

I'm half Canadian, so always am pleased to know that I am reaching mum's in Canada.

I only have 2 kids, but have had other contributors to my blog in the intervening years!

Enjoy
